1946 Propaganda Film on Despotism

If you can get beyond the crackle and the downward drone of the announcer’s voice, this 1940s movie about despotism curiously describes where America is headed in a hurry. FOOD: Do you care what’s really going on in the kitchen?

I have seen other documentaries on the way food, especially beef is manipulated in such a way that makes it unhealthy. Those documentaries caused me to stop eating beef and pork all together. I am willing to pay more to ensure the birds I am eating are not pumped full of antibiotics and live their lives in a windowless shed walking about in their own feces. This solution will have to suffice until we buy enough land to raise our own food humanely and without chemicals and antibiotics.
