Collecting fall leaves and creating nature garlands sounds magical and I would be all in, if I lived in a place where the leaves turned color in the fall. Woe is me, it is summer year round here (cue the violins) so we must make due with felt. Yes! Another excuse to use felt. I knew the fun could go on.
For this project, you will need some variety of felt colors, leaf cookie cutters, a sharpie, fabric scissors, yarn or twine, and embroidery floss. Trace and cut out each leaf. Stitch from the end of the leaf to the base (where the hanging loop will go). Before tying off the stitch, make a loop for threading on the twine later. Simple!
