What a sad story, especially in modern America. I thought it particularly telling when the pastors wife was talking about how little she knows about “atheists”. “I know they don’t believe in the god I do” she says. As if we may believe in some other god or devil/ The idea of not belieiving in any god seemed to foreign a concept to her to even mention. So sad how ignorance is the cornerstone of fundamental religion.
